Here’s another wedding that is long overdue for appearing here. In fact, Christie & Daryl just celebrated their first anniversary over the weekend – so a big congratulations to the two of them. Christie and I knew each other from high school, and when she first approached me about photographing her wedding, I was a little nervous because I knew that her mom had worked with a few local photographers and is quite capable when it comes to being behind the lens. I knew everything was going to be alright when we did Christie’s bridals (soon to be blogged as well) at Mansion Royal (her wedding venue) as well as off of Holly Road in a field of yellow wildflowers.
Both Christie and Daryl are fun loving individuals and surround themselves with fun friends – making for great shots during the reception. They had their ceremony at St. Johns Methodist Church with reception following at Mansion Royal. This was the first full wedding that I shot alongside my wife, Rebekah and we both had a great time. Bekah was a little nervous when I left her with Christie and her bridesmaids so that I could go find Daryl and the groomsmen to get some shots, but Bekah did outstanding.
